LATE DEVELOPMENT IN THE CASE OF THE I-9: NO MAY 20 COURT HEARING

Court support is no longer needed this Monday for the nine individuals (The I-9) arrested March 11 for blockading Interstate 95 to force the topic of Israel’s assault on Gaza into the mainstream. They are no longer required to appear on Monday; instead a meeting has been scheduled between lawyers for the defendants with the Commonwealth’s Attorney and the judge.

SOLIDARITY WITH I-9 DEFENDANTS FROM A VIRGINIA PRISONER

Shaka Shakur, a New Afrikan Freedom Fighter currently imprisoned at the Beaumont Correctional Center in Central Virginia, has written a statement in solidarity with the I-95 defendants. Read it HERE. Information about Shaka can be found HERE.

The Elegba Folklore Society, “Richmond’s Cultural Ambassador,” presents Juneteenth 2024, A Freedom Celebration on June 7th, 8th and 9th.
