On Sept. 21, the Richmond Peace Education Center co-sponsored an event in Richmond's Monroe Park with the League of United Latin American Citizens, ReEstablish Richmond, and other immigrant and social justice advocacy organizations.

A member of the League of United Latin American Citizens staffs an information table at “Listen, Learn, Connect, Act – A Teach-In on Immigrant and Social Justice,” held Sept. 21 in Richmond’s Monroe Park. The event was initiated by the Richmond Peace Education Center and co-sponsored by LULAC, ReEstablish Richmond and other immigrant and social justice advocacy organizations. Security was organized by the Virginia Defenders, along with special protection for undocumented immigrants.
